My Prediction: A potential playoff preview takes place tonight in Texas as the Rangers host the Red Sox. Erik Bedard will be making his 4th start with Boston. He has a nice 3.38 ERA in 16 innings with the Red Sox. C.J. Wilson got shelled in 2 starts in late July, but has been excellent in August so far. In his last 3 starts he has a 1.88 ERA in 19 2/3 innings. He's been very good in his four career starts against Boston, posting a 1.37 ERA and the Rangers have won all 4 of those games. The Rangers are coming home from a 10-game road trip and are 28-13 in Game 1 of a series while the Red Sox are 21-20. I think the Rangers knock Bedard around tonight.
